Djet ECU 140-160 1972

Mine is toast, looking for a replacement. Any heads up on a source would be appreciated greatly.

Post the numbers off your old unit 140-160 1972

Try Jim Morris in Pennsylvania or Chris Horn (Agent Strangelove) in Oregon. You could also hit P1800.com or Sesquehanna Spares.

Jim and Chris are in the member directory. I highly recommend both.

I might even have one... somewhere.

Grab the numbers off your unit and post it. Help will be on the way.

... and from your other post, I can see that George (Walrus) said he might be able to hook you up... Go with him if possible. Good guy.

I am somewhat familiar with D-jet as well.

Also... read this (Volvo Fuel Injection Fault Tracing) 140-160 1972

This is a MUST for any D-Jet owner. Download it, print it, read it. It's full of picture and is very easy to follow. Ignore the bit in the end about the special diagnostic computer... unless you happen to have one.

Get a fuel pressure testing gauge from Harbor Freight and a Multimeter.

Do the tests in that book, they reveal all.
