Clutch line/hose connection similar to brakes? 120-130

Will be plumbing up the clutch components shortly on a car converted from automatic. There looks to be a tab already welded to the inner frame rail. Is the joint between the hardline and flexible hose similar to the system used for the brakes? Can I simply use the same "clips" used for the brake system to secure the hose to the tap, then make up a new hardline to fit?

Hello,

The clutch system is plumbed with 1/4" tubing, while the brake lines are 3/16".

Do the threads go up (7/16" UNF?) as well, or are they still 3/8"-24 like the brakes?

Thanks.

Local parts stores don't seem to have the 7/16" female nuts, so I've ordered them (as well as some 1/4" line) from FedHill.

Once you've got your hardlines figured out, ping Agent_Strangelove (Chris Horn) if you'd like to upgrade your rubber flex clutch hose to a nice braided stainless steel version.

I gave my old 68 130 the complete Stainless upgrade and was very happy with the fit and performance. Chris' unit was a nice match for the IPD stainless hoses.
