Free 122 in Hawaii (Big Island) 120-130

Been out of the Volvo game for a while (baby).

Thought I would put one last word out to the community to see if anyone is interested in a 1964 Volvo 122. Moving from Hawaii and makes no sense to keep it.

No roundfender people on the Big Island that I've been able to find.

Parts car only. Rebuilt B18.

Also have my big stash of parts but I'll be selling those as the chance arrives. Contact for the parts list.

Hate the idea of sending a good parts car and rebuilt engine to the crusher.

Also have good body panels; hood, trunklid, driver and passenger doors.

Just trying to save from wasting it at this point.

Thanks for looking.

If you're not getting any bites here, I would try craigslist ad.

Here's a thought. Donate the car to a local trade or technical school, assuming there is one on the Big Island. Maybe get a tax receipt. Encourage them to use the car as a project in bodywork, mechanicals, etc. Then suggest they raffle it off when finished and use the money to buy some equipment for the school.

Anything to save a decent Amazon from the crusher.

Cheers,

Hummm... tempting. Not sure if the venerable old 945 is up for towing a 4th Amazon back home - even with the OEM ocean towing package installed... :)
