940 tranny swap 900 1993

I just purchased "another" project car. It' a 1993 945 Turbo with a bad automatic transmission.
I plan on replacing the AW71 with an M47 transmission off a 1993 240 "donnor". I have the pedals and slave cylinder for the 940 manual plus the flywheel off the 240.

What else would the conversion require?

Thanks for your help.

940 m/t driveshaft and trans mountings, along with the shifter assy. only thing that's the same between the 240 and 940 is the trans itself. good luck, chuck.

I think that the shift extension on an M46 for a 740 (I have a 740 turbo M46 available) is longer than the extension for a 240. You might want to check the M47 for that.
You'll need the input shaft guide bearing for the recess in the crankshaft. -- Dave
