25amp fuse holder 200

Has been starting harder than usual lately and I found my fuse holder shot. Not sure why it is melted but the connection was pretty rough.
Picked up another holder and it seems a whole lot better starting.

Just something else to check if your have starting issues.

This is quite common, corrosion causes contact resistance, when current flows through "resistance" heat is generated and the fuse holder melts. Had a similar issue on our 65 T-bird, unfortunately the connector corrosion was under the driver side carpet, almost lost the car and had to replace the wiring harness as a result.

    Same problem... decades apart!
