Has anyone adjusted the turn signal switch? 120-130

I've noticed that the turn signal switches on 122s are real sensitive to deactivate. Has anyone played around with the windows on the steering column collar?

Has anyone adjusted the turn signal switch? 120-130 1966

I was in there a year ago. Mine was not working very well, when it worked at all. I always had my hand on the lever, switching it on and off when turning. Now it works. I click it on, it flashes, and when the turn is complete, it shuts off. Why? I don't know. I went through it with some cleaner and lube, and adjusted some little spring tabs to try and give it some more oomph. When I put it back together it worked fine for a week and then went back to not shutting off. Oh, and sometimes it smoked too. Now it works fine, no smoke, all good. So what you have to do is clean it and lube it and then wait a year.
