Hello everyone. I just wanted to say hello! And say that I LOVE my 1995 Volvo 960! Its awesome !

    Have you ever had trouble with the transmission leaking? Do you know if the power seats have a manual overide?

      Dear Samu,

      Hope you're well. There is no manual over-ride of the power seats on 900 series Volvos. The Aisin-Warner transmissions used in the 900 series cars are very durable. Over several years, I recall few posts relating to leaks. Most tranny problems are due to dirty/old/over-heated/water-contaminated fluid. The last occurs after failure of the in-radiator transmission fluid cooler. Water in the trans fluid dissolves glue, that adheres clutch-pack facings. Water also becomes steam, at transmission operating temperatures. Steam does not lubricate.
