444 Restoration Book 444-544

Hello everyone. I've been giving serious thought to compiling the last five and a half years of processes and details of my PV 444 restoration project into a book on the subject. I would obviously include many how-to's, step-by-step instructions, pictures, references and many other goodies. Before I invest the funds for an ISBN and other publishing requirements I thought I would gauge the interest from my fellow Brickboarders. What do you guys think? Would this be worth anything to you? What, if anything, would you like to see in the book? What would you NOT want to see? How much might you expect to pay for a book like this?

Tony: I have watched your restoration progress along the way. Fantastic job. I would be interested as I just obtained a 544 to go with my 1800.

I would like to see it and would probably buy it, even though my Duett is mostly done. I'd lots of pictures, and sources for parts, even though those will become obsolete... I'd expect a book with color pix to be $25-$40, but with small print runs, the price goes up, I know...

Thank you for the feedback John. I'm considering publishing it electronically at first, through Amazon and the iTunes store. If there's enough interest i'll get some printed if I can afford it. First I have to finish writing it though! :) I'm probably about halfway through.
