I have two 12 volt Bosch generators, one has a condenser mounted on top.
#1) no condenser. marked 0 101 302 113 @ (@=Bosch symbol),6->14v,30A20, has cast 1.5" diameter hole/opening in one side of main body near field windings.
#2) with condenser. marked 0 101 302 027 @ 028, 6-14v, 30A25. Condenser body is mounted to D- with lead running to D+, no hole in side.
Both are in '66 122's. #2 is later model '66 with '67-68 type front grilles.
Why does #2 have condenser? Is it needed?
Does 30A25 have higher output?
Is either one a better generator? (they are still generators after all)
Thanks
