Hi,

I have a cam out of my 91 B230 and it is stamped 1000132. Is that an M cam?

    Generally speaking, there is a letter (or two) stamped on the back end of the cam. The various numbers and letters cast into the cam itself don't mean anything (or not much), that's just indicating something about the manufacture of the cam blank. Once the cam was ground into a particular lobe shape, they stamped the letter on the back vertical face of the cam.
