Axle end play 120-130

I've got the bearings replaced on the ENV axles and have remounted the brakes with new seals and gaskets. I didn't have to use heat or a press to mount the bearings as they went on easily with some assembly lube and some judicious tapping with a brass drift. I replaced the shims on either side as they had come out, but forgot (didn't know) to measure the end play in the axles. I have reinstalled everything now and have some end play in both axles. What is the proper amount of end play for these axles?? Thanks in advance.
Bill

If you have some discernible end play, a few thousandths of an inch, then it's OK. To detect and measure it further would take a dial indicator. If it's enough that it feels sloppy, then it's too much. Chances are it's just fine, and it's not as critical as some indicate.

Thanks Rhys. It's sloppy now. I'll start dropping some shims until I get down to "just discernable" and then not worry.
