Cruise control not working w/ lghts on 200 1990

I like to use my cruise control for the convenience and fuel efficiency.

I have had the problem when driving at night with the headlights on the cruise control doesn't work. I works fine in the daytime when he lights are not on.

This seems weird but might be something specific and thought someone might have a simple fix.

1990 240 wagon

bulb out relay cuts out cruise control when bulbs fail. get the burnt out bulbs replaced. if bulbs are ok, replace the bulb out relay.

That is the most likely answer, the bulb out light does come on when my lights are on. I haven't yet tried to resolve it, I will when I get time.

Thank you for giving me a definite direction.
