Coolant escaping around hoses 900 1993

My radiator cap was cracked so I bought a (green) replacement from the local auto parts store a couple weeks ago. Now I notice I have coolant escaping around the end of several hoses and I have few small puddles of coolant on the garage floor in the morning.

Is the cap failing to relieve the pressure? Loose clamps? Something worse? Thanks for any ideas you may have.

I can go buy a cap from the dealer, but hate to waste the $30 if that wouldn't help it.

Tighten up your hose clamps and check the condition of your hoses. The cap is the only place you should lose pressure or juice.

Yes! You need a good quality "Black" OEM cap. Lower pressure. The ones from FCP etc are now, made in China crap too. Best bet is one in good condition from junkyard. If you run it too long you could blow your heater core....OUCH!
