You should post this in the brickboard.com/AWD/ forum. This one is rear wheel drive only,
so very few V70 experts here.

question of V70 head 200

I think the comment first should have been a question such as "do you know the V70 is front wheel drive?"-my answer--"I know nothing about V70s". I asked this for a friend and he said nothing about it being front wheel drive. OR the first reply should have been something like" "ask this in the front wheel drive section." Just to show you how ignorant I am about the subject-I didnt really know Volvo made a front wheel drive-only cause I didnt think about it. are there any back wheel drive Volvos after '93? or when did volvo start making front wheel drives?
Any Volvo beyond 1993 is greek to me as far as details . next time, if there is one, ill ask in the front wheel drive section- now i know that about the v70s anyway. at least i got an answer to my question ,thank you, so i guess some do know about front wheel drives in the 200 series section.
Ive seen v70s around but didnt wonder about how the wheels were driven.

The 940/60 or S/V90 are RWD, last made for 1998. All others are now FWD or AWD.

Hi,

Yes it could, but the valves will burn more quickly.
