I spoke too soon....or only knocked on fake wood! 200 1990

Well, all my cheering and boasting and "look at all I did"...came to a halt this morning as I tried to start my 240. The engine really turned very fast and sounded normal but did not fire. I left it alone about ten minutes, to take a phone call and tried again and it started perfectly ran 15 seconds and died. Restarted once more and it started fine, ran 15 seconds and died. It will not start at all now no matter what. Rather than crying or cursing I thought I would call upon the many brainstrusts on Brickboard. Please help me.

What did you do to the car? It sounds like the timing might be off... details are essential.

Thanks. Well, I tok off the throttle body and really cleaned it and re-installed, careful to get all hoses back correctly. Then I took off the air control sensor underneath the throttle body and carefully used q-tips and really cleaned it...touching no adjustments or anything. After doing that, I took the car out and drove it. It was faster and smoother than I ever remember all these years. I then parked it and then the next day ( my thread told the rest, but basically it twice started and died after a few seconds and third time and after, will only turn over fast and strong but doesn't fire.

Diconnect the AAM and see if itstarts and runs in "limp home mode' 200 1990

but make sure the ignition is off when unplugging or plugging in the AAM connector.
