I love finding relay locations on my 85 245....Where might be the location for the power door locks relay on an 85 245... Seems to be acting up some after a heavy rain by that I mean I hear it energizing the locks...I think it's just dampness or the usual corrosion after years of use...

The lock switches are responsible for the gremlins. Open the driver's door panel and look at the red, green, and black wires to the key lock and button switches. The gremlins will be obvious.

As for the relays, they're on a rail behind the center vents. Ugly access.

Isn't he something? I still think he should have a radio talk show and host it taking callers about Volvos, life or what ever. He could call it "Art Imitating Life" or maybe "The Oz Near Baltimore". I don't know it just seems a sort of shame limiting all that to just the BB. NOT THAT WE DON'T COUNT>>>WE DO!! I'm just saain'

I like "Art imitating Life"
- or maybe just "That's Incredible" - - sorry, that one's been used


Either way - I'm thankful he's willing to share that vast amount of knowledge and humour with us! Don't get me wrong, Bruce, Dave, Phil and many others experts on this forum have saved my hide multiple times, but there seems to be only one Art! (maybe Mrs B. is thankful for that)


Even if I had to get rid of my Volvo - I think I'd still read the BB for my daily dose of Art humour.


BTW - my wife's favorate "Artisms" as she calls them - - "Raising teenagers is like trying to nail Jell-o to a tree" )
