The NEW SEAT FOAM ARRIVED!!!! 200 1990

A few of you read my disappointment note referring to the first seat cushion I ordered. Well, let me be even more vocal regarding what turns out to be one of the best experiences of my adult life. Dave is certainly a professional but even more pertinent is that he is putting out an even better-than-original cushion. First, it is butter smooth to touch and is firm and comfortable. There is every improvemnt that much thought and reseach could provide and NOT A SINGLE FLAW to be found, even under my closest scrutiny. If anyone want to have the ultimate seat in their VOLVO just order one of these.I am now ordering the second cushion so that my lucky-to-ride-wth-me passenger can experience the ultimate comfort, too. I cannot adequately express here just what a top-drawer product that he is providing to us. Commercial, yes, but what I view as a public service to have made the effort to make available such a great replacement cushion. A very large, "THANK YOU,DAVE".

I purchased two seat bottom cushion foam pieces from Dave, and I heartily agree. They are first-rate.

Now I'm hoping Dave eventually starts making seat BACK foam pieces!

I'm glad to hear you and David worked it out, and even gladder to hear that the new seat foam is all you expected. How does it feel to sit on? Firmer than the old seat?

I've already spent my spruce-up-the-Volvo budget this year, but I might make an exception for new seat foam.

      Sean

I feels like a baby lamb that has been pumping iron cradling your butt. It is so very much better than you can imagine and with the stretchy suede-like material that I spray glued around the backrest foam, it is approximating the 2011 E63 I delivered Saturday that MSRPs for $98,623.00 but my Volvo 240 does not have the massage or dual range lumbar or the grab-your-sides-if-you-corner-too-fast feature but then again, the Benz does not have a head restraint that you can hang socks on to dry while you travel. See, it all works out in life.

      Ken
      PS
      Thanks Sean. Be safe.

His name is David Samuels and he is on E-bay.com listed under first "Motors" then "parts and accessories" I finished up the seat and I cannot believe how beautiful and firm and better-than-new the seat is. I will be happy when both are in and I am on one of them. Order a couple if you want to make your back happy and your car above others.

I want one, but if I spend more money now, I'll be a hobo roasting a squirrel under a bridge! 200 1982

Will the bottom seat foam fit the older 1980-1985 Volvos? Like the subject line says, I'm tapped out on my Volvo bling-bling budget until after the Christmas season is over. Dave, if you're reading this, just know that lots of us are lusting after your bottom...er...seats! LOL. Keep making them, because we will be doing business with you...you can bet your...bottom dollar!

A new low in seat humor....I read it to my dog and he foamed at the mouth. He is a Springer. I normally don't butt in , but I just thought I couldn't let it rest. It just kind of bottomed out. Well, anyway, if you ass'd me I'd say that if you can come up with the money, it will be one of the best you can spend for, no ifs ands or buts. I would help you aout but I am kind of in arrears myself and near the end. You'll think I am pretty cheeky for all this, but I needed some humor 'cause its been touche and go in this boat and I stay in the aft most of the time. Good luck and, in life, just do what seats you, and no one else.......remember, Chair ity begins at home.

I would say say something, but I don't want to be the butt of any jokes. On another note, I am so behind on my seat replacement project, it will be the next Blue Moon before I get mine installed. It is a high quality replacement. Thanks Dave for the effort.

Touche, Fred. I know that when you finish the project, you won't beleive the seats. "Better than New" might be an exaggeration, but not much of one. Dave has done a great service for us all and I hope he gets out of it what he intended. It gives youa chance to "improve" the overall seat. I used alot of suede-like material to spray glue around the backrest and even used it without spray glue to put top and bottom of my heat grids on both seats. I am so pleased and look for years more of driving comfort. Good luck.
