Anyone got a recommendation for great 240 sheepskin seatcovers? I've seen plenty of seatcovers that don't quite fit that well. I'm in Oakland, Cailf., but mail order would be fine. Thanks, Bryan

FYI: When I first got my 245 I put nice sheepskin seat covers in but quickly swapped them out... Found that they added several inches to the overall seat height and brought my head up too close to the roof. My being a tall driver this was in issue.

I bought a pair of sheepskin seat covers and headrest covers for an old mercedes from www.autosportcatalog.com and was really impressed with the quality.

Get the CUSTOM MADE model, it has a velcro slit that fits over the headrest and creates an invisible seam. Just got my second set today, $300.

Bought a pair about 3 years ago and no problems. Get the best 1" all sheepskin (no acrylic sides) grade he sells. He will have to order them. About $250 a pair.

These are the semi-custom style as opposed to the full on custom tailored. The seams line up very well with our seats and the covers are held in place by elastic straps under the seat. The covers have shoulders or caps that go over the top and front of the seat. The back is open. You will have to punch holes for the head rests. They are machine washable in cold-water gentle cycle and air dry.
