Just wondering if anyone knows of a source that carries (or if anyone happens to have) .40 over sized pistons for the B18. The sets for $450 are kind of harsh.

I hope you mean 0.040".
0.40" oversize is bigger than B20!
Pistons ARE pretty expensive.
Sometimes they show up on ebay. Right now there is a lots of 3 0.030" oversize B18 pistons,

Yes! I apologize, haha.
The cylinders in the block I have are a bit scratched. The shop thinks that it might need to get bored to .040 but.. maybe .030 will do.

Scratched? It takes a whopping scratch to be more than 2 or 3 thou deep!
