Arm Rest support 200

Has anyone engineered or found something to support the Front of the Armrest (that doesn't interfere with the parking brake) ??

Not a huge headache - but it would be nice to keep my built-in drink holder's level

Thanks
Charles

My wife "manufactured" a rectangular "cushion" slightly wider than the space between the 2 front seats, about a foot long and about 6 inches tall. made it look nice and is "cushiony" for resting your right arm on it. You can slide it up or down as you see fit between the seats or if you have a cup in that excuse for a mug holder, being wider than the space between the seats it shouldn't move till you want it too. . works for me.

My solution was always "Grande in a Venti cup, please"
Of course I do this with all cars. If your drinks are that full it'll still be a problem with a
bouncing and weaving car, no?

I'm not sure if we have the same style of arm rest (mine cam out of a late 80's junkyard car,
but mine bolts to the seatbelt bolts and then has another bolt a couple inches higher that goes into the p brake console...it's very stable, but you can still swivel the arm rest up and down (but there is no front to back movement) the holes are pre-drilled into the console- check and see if they're being used...

I don't have a cup holder deal though- do you have a pic of what you've made?
