In order for me to pass my smog check my check engine light needs to be off. Unfortunately it is on right now. My engine runs fine an operationally i am happy with it. Is there a way to turn this check engine light off?

    Check the OBD codes using instructions from the 700/900 FAQ's.

    Read the codes and post back what they are.

    Re-set the codes by removing fuse 6.

    See if the CEL returns and re- read the OBD codes.

    I think operationally, people were happy with the horse drawn carriage.

    Your check engine light is on because the computer can not control the engine correctly.

    Use the FAQ to learn how to check the code and help you repair the fault, or take the vehicle to a reputable service center.
