I have a 1987 Volvo 245 GL. The interior airblower has five settings including; off, 1, 2, 3, 4. For some reason, the airblower runs at setting 1 even if it is in the off position. Can anyone offer any advice regarding what may be wrong and how to repair it?

To repair this, turn the AC off.

Thanks for thr response... Could it be a faulty 4-way fan speed selector switch as my AC switch is off?
