Weight of 2 door carcass? 120-130

I’m getting ready to part out my ’67 2 door since rust has made the car unsafe and I haven’t the time, resources or space to rescue her. I intend to strip everything removable to keep as spares before sending the carcass to the recycler.

I’m interested in knowing what the carcass might weigh without engine, transmission, driveshaft, rear end including all suspension, the front suspension including x-member, wheels obviously, seats and upholstery, dash, all glass, front fenders, doors, trunk lid, hood, rad, nosepiece and grilles, gas tank, bumpers and brackets. In short, absolutely everything that could be removed without a Sawzall or a torch. Could 4 guys lift what’s left onto a trailer?

Thanks for any informed estimates.

My semi-educated WAG would be... those 4 guys had better be fairly healthy. :)

Having done this with a 142 (can't be that much difference), I'd say you're talking an absolute minimum of 600 pounds. IIRC, the 142 was actually something around 800; it did have the windshield, dash, and a few other misc items still attached, but was otherwise pretty much as you've described.

I would say that 4 guys should be able to lift a gutted 122 into a trailer.

I chopped a '64 4-door into about 4 pieces, and was able to carry around all of them by myself.

You can get a sawsall and some metal blades and cut it up too. I used 4 blades (should have been two, but I bent two of them on the interior panels of the rear) and two hours to do this to a 122:
