just bought low power update (FIXED!!) 900 1993

Turns out the timing belt was off a cog, Poor maintenace practices. heres a list of things I have fixed after buying for 1300.00 - Drivers side power seat, only left side would move. The fix, cut a section of the right trans drive housing out and splice with a hose. Oil leaks, replace cracked valve cover, flame box, arrester and hoses, sun roof switch, front corner lights, fresh air intake hose, muffler, all drive belts, harmonic balancer, someone must have used a strap wrench to hold it when they broke the torque on the bolt, it was not running true and the timing mark was a few degrees off. Timing belt and both upper and lower timing covers ( worn thru by not having all the bolts and wobbly balancer). Installed missing bolts in a/c bracket. TPS sensor. Thanks to pull a part and swedishcarpartsandservice.com (A Plug For Chris)and you fine folks that have given great feedback, I now have 1700.00 in a car with 163,000 miles that runs great, doesn't leak, everything is working and looking as it should. thanks to all again.

The one tooth off on the Cam is a common issue. Set everything correctly, let the tensioner out and it pulls the Cam back as it pulls the belt. Problem is, you bought it that way so you couldn't know where to start.

Thanks for sharing. Glad you are happier with the power
