I implemented a turing test for posting anonymously.

While this might annoy some legitimate users, my hope is that it will annoy spammers who use automated tools. The legitimate users have the option of creating an account to get around this.

The spammers have this option too, but the game is to make spamming here too expensive for them. Creating accounts and confirming the automated email raises the bar a little more. If they start doing that, then I'll have to add CAPTCHA to the signup process as well.

    BB e-mail is also on your list I hope. 70% of my responses to folks is through BB e-mail with Pics and /or Word document with blow by blows of how I did a job.

    Yes Spammers should be shot and publically displayed. That should stop some of it.

    Sure wish you would fix the gallery search function so that I could get to the second page of my posted pix
    and so that a person could search on more than one variable at a time without setting all the rest
    to the default (which usually excludes the item being searched for).
    This has been a problem for years and needs to be addressed.
