AC condensor pressure switch S90-V90

Hey folks,

It was determined a few weeks ago that I probably need a new AC condensor switch. The cooling fan wouldn't turn on due to assist the AC (only turns on when radiator tells it to).

Anyway, I went to order the fan on FCP Groton, but their site says there's three pressure switches on the condensor. I can only spot one of them (bottom center). Where are the other ones, and how can I tell if they are malfunctioning? Or is this the sort of thing where I have to replace all three?

This is for earlier models, your being a "new" model, I believe there was some combining of the hi and low sensors and maybe others, so they will have three wires instead of two like those below.

The three switches on the condensor, I believe from left to right are:

High pressure, shuts off the system if internal pressures exceed a set limit.

Low speed sensor, runs radiator fan at low speed.

High speed sensor, runs radiator fan at high speed.

Accumulator/Dryer houses the low pressure switch.

Does this help?

There's only one pressure switch on the S90's. The 95 960's had three. You need P/N 30767231, but it's not cheap, even at FCP it's $97.61 + shipping.

I got an e-mail today that says they're running a special now : free shipping over $49 using "freeship49", or $10 off $75 using "10off", or 10% off & free shipping over $99 using "saveon99".

Hope this helps.
