Hesitation, No CEL S90-V90

Hello,

I have an odd problem with my S90. When I start driving (the car is already warmed up) from idle I will give it gas at a light or whatever and I will get hesitation, it will last 5-6 seconds and go away. The CEL will not come on. This happens always when the car is already warmed up and I start it to go somewhere. There is no hesitation at all after that during the entire drive.

At first I thought fuel pump but it never happens after and its only during the car being warm.

I have a spare MAF sensor and that idle control valve from a scrap car I took off. I was thinking of replacing the MAF.. Only one thing at a time so I know what was bad..

What do you think??

I would swap out the MAF first.

I went to replace the MAF, but the one I have is from a 1995 960, so the plug is different. I ended up buying MAF cleaner in a can, and did a bit of a cleaning but the problem is still there. I was thinking of replacing the idle air control valve because i have one of those from the 960, hopefully they are the same.

If anyone needs a MAF for a 960, let me know.
