AC drains clogged? 200

91 240

AC blows fairly cold, but noticed that the carpet behind driver's seat is soaking wet. The other side is dry. I'm thinking it's the AC hoses that are clogged. How would I diagnose and repair the problem?

    You might want to check and see if the a/c lines above the passenger's left foot area are properly wrapped in butyl.

    If it is only on the right side (passenger's side), this is what I would check first.

    You can buy GB brand sealer for under $2 at Home Depot, and this worked for me.

    If it needs to be maintained, repaired or replaced on a 1990 240, I've probably done it. '90 240DL, 287K (Almost There!!) Looking forward to 300K badge (or sticker??). >>You haven't really worked on a car until you draw blood<< :-}
