MMC FAN SWITCH 900 1993

Good day Brickers, my MMC fan stopped working. I replaced the MCC last year with a rebuilt unit. Is there a way to make the fan come on without going through the MCC? Thanks.

Dear Chudar,

Hope this finds you well. Did you replace the fan itself? If it is the factory-original, at 314K miles, it doesn't owe you a five cents (US/Euro/Canada/Australia/NZ, etc.). Did the fan make any noises, before it stopped working, e.g., high-pitched whine, etc.?

If not, the switch may have failed. You should be able to get a control unit at a salvage yard, and swop the switch, or the entire control unit.

Hope this helps.

Yours faithfully,

Spook

Spook, thanks for the reply. I replaced the fan about four years ago. I will check salvage yards for a MCC unit.
