Brake Lights come on only with hard pressure-- 140-160

I read in Haynes that this (brake light function) is adjustable, but their diagram and explanation was not clear. Is there a separate adjuster for the distance or does the whole pedal assembly have to be moved (or am I completely misunderstanding this thing??)

Hello,

The stock location for the brake light switch for a 140 is under the dash at the brake pedal.

The switch is attached to a bracket with 2 nuts.

Loosen the nuts to adjust the switch in or out, or if necessary to remove the switch.
