My fuel pump on my 1970 P1800E works fine but hums very loudly. The rubber mount seems fine. Is this a problem? Is there an easy fix.

    Hello,

    Make sure the fuel filter is not plugged and check all fuel lines for kinks or deterioration.

    Have you checked your fuel pressure?

    Sometimes a faulty fuel pressure regulator can cause noise at the fuel pump.
