Today i was driving and the speedometer needle shot up then fell and stopped responding. After that happened i looked at the odometer which also had stopped spinning. The coolant gauge, rpm gauge, and clock(if that applies), all still work. any help?

Probably wires on the speedo sensor on the differential. The wires there weaken and break. You may be able to butt splice the wires back together or get new pigtails and a new connector to replace the end.
