Slight hesitation on acceleration 900 1992

Non turbo sedan. Cleaned the intake and throttle body- car runs fine, but upon acceleration the engine has a slight hesitation. What would cause this to happen? Faulty injector?

You don't say how many miles on the car. But if the original pump is getting near 200K miles on it, the pressure may not be up to spec.

Another Regina car here a few months ago was running "marginally" with what turned out to be only about 30psi at idle. The spec is 36.5psi, rising to
46psi under full acceleration (Wide Open Throttle).

WOT can be simulated at idle by taking the vac hose off the FPRegulator and plugging it (the hose that is). Do a search here on Regina Fuel Pump [or] Pressure for more info.

EDIT: Here is the reported Regina Low Pressure thread I mentioned.

And here is the follow-up, with a cautionary comment about "OEM" products from FCP.
I had the same experience. Scan-Tech may be sourcing from an OEManufacturer, but that could change at anytime. OE pumps are made in the UK, according to the one I got from Beechmont Volvo a few years ago.
