oil pressure light flicker 200 1993

The old Brick started her oil pressure light flickering after a freeway run last week. I replaced the pressure switch and checked the wire and thought it was going to resolve it. After another high speed run; I still get a flicker at idle. I have noticed a loafing un even idle and if i give it a bit of gas, it stops flickering. I noticed that the idle speed when coming off the gas, dips low and I think that could be what's causing the low pressure. how can I bump up the idle? Anything else I should look at? The engine has 159k well cared for miles, so it shouldn't be the pump, right? Thanks in advance!

A quick update, I found some vacuum leaks and the idle is up enough that the oil light does not flicker except when going from park to reverse and it flicker just for a second. The idle is still a bit rough so it looks like I need to clean the throttle body and continue checking. Also the check engine light went off when the leak was found, so we're making progress! Thanks for your help!
Is it weird that I now have the overwhelming desire to buy another 240????

Yes, I understand the magical pull on us that RWD volvos have. I have my eye on a CHERRY 1970 P1800 in a lot of cars going to Mexico. I asked if they would sell her, but no...she is going to a VIP in Mexico city. I guess that makes me a NON-VIP.

As long as it goes out when you step on gas . I dont know if your idle can be adjusted ecu controls this. Clean iac valve. I could be wrong on this.
