Difficulty turning key 200 1986

I'm having a little difficulty turning my key to start the engine. The keys work for all doors and the trunk, but I get alot of resistance when I'm trying to turn it. After some persistance and jiggling, it will finally loosen to turn. Any thoughts on what I should do? Thanks

Squirt some graphite lube in the key slot. Also on the key and work it back and forth.

Make damn sure it's perfectly straight... These keys can bend without much detection. I tend to warp mine when the trunk lock gets stiff.
