Finally, some good news. 200

I posted last week about an impending tax bill and the apparent necessity of selling my newly-purchased '86 wagon to cover costs. I'm happy to announce that I sold my 2005 BMW this evening, and the wagon has been granted a reprieve.

Of course, now that I've gone to a 24-year-old car as my daily driver, I suspect you'll be hearing a lot more from me. Thanks for all the good advice and well-wishes thus far, and I'm looking forward to getting the old girl into top condition as she gets pressed into daily service.

I have driven an 88 245 as my daily for almost a year now. I love the car and leave my silverado 14 mpg truck in the driveway.

You might be surprised how little trouble you'll have.

    Congratulations, I guess.
I hope you have gone to your employer to increase withholding - They did a rinky doo on
CSRetirement this year - cutting back withholding unilaterally for an economic boost with no
change in tax liability. Took me a while to get through on the phone to put it back where it was!
