Rear J-type OD Oil Seal Removal 120-130

Easy question here. I'm in the middle of replacing the OD oil seal. Got the flange off the back but can't seem to get the old seal out. Is there an easy way to do this? (...before I get too creative)
Thanks,
-Dan

I usually just use a flat bladed screwdriver.

Reach across the opening and slip the flat of the end behind the seal. Push the screwdriver handle towards the transmission (pivoting against the edge of the tail shaft housing) and the seal will be pushed out from behind.

Try to keep the blade off of the tail shaft housing itself.

Ahh K. I guess I was on the right track. Felt as though the method was a little rough around the endges. But I always tend to second guess the screwdriver pry as the best method. Cool cool. Thanks for the quick response.
