Who makes the best front windshield wiper motor and where do I get one? 200

I just found out that my project car's wiper motor is weak. I checked the ground and the voltage. My spare doesn't work at all so I'm going to have to procure a new one. Thanks, Charles

You could try a local junkyard if they have any 240s out there. They're quite easy to remove and install. I believe Bosch makes them? But don't quote me on it. Try fcpgroton.com or ipdusa.com if you are in the market for a new one. eBay 240 parts are ridiculous so stay away from there.

I just revived mine a week ago by following this from another brickboardian ( http://volvo2.homestead.com/240wiper.html )

    Cheers

Thanks Hairhead! I have 4 motors from myu car and parts cars that I have and none of them worked well. I pulled them apart and 3 of them had magnets that needed to be re-glued. While I was in there I pulled out the armature and used scotch-brite on the commutator section to get rid of the carbon buildup. When I put them back together 3 out of 4 of them worked great! The fourth one had some kind of heat issue as the plastic brush holder thing was black from heat. Anyway, Thanks again! Now it rocks!
