How much power can it handle?

Howdy

How much power and torque can a stock rear axle and driveshaft out of a 740 Turbo handle? . . does anybody know?

More than any 4 cyl engine can supply. Even the V8 conversions with gobbs of torque won't brake the axle or prop shaft. But, the bits that hold the rear axle in place could be a small problem.
