Center Brake Light 200 1989

I replaced the bulb in the center Brake Light.
Is there a trick to snapping back the black plastic cover?
Thanks for any feedback.

Don't know if there is a trick to it,but do know this ,warm up the inside of the car.You do not want to be playung around with COLD plastic. It will surely break!

oh yeah - Consult with your deity of preference and rub the hell out of their relics as you delicately place the cover back on. This is probably the most brittle thing on your car.

    Good luck!

Right up there on the list of breaking up is not hard to do is the emergency brake cover. I had to take mine off a couple of months ago, and just a very slight tug after loosening the screws sent it into splinterland. I did save the insert box, however.

I would go with the door pockets as the Most brittle.

But that sucker is right up at the top of the most shattered plastic part you look for at the PUP.

Just be careful is all I can offer up.

      Regards,

      Paul

Map Pockets? oh.. you must be one of those Volvo Perfectionist!! LOL
Man, last time I saw a complete map pocket was on the screen I'm using to view this site.... When I get to a PUP I ALWAYS see artifacts of a Map Pocket existence...

I've also found say 3 of those Third Brake Light Covers... each one is missing that tiny 5mm wide tab you NEED to attach it... "glues" will not work.. except for the 245 guys who have better design...

I'm thankful my dash is complete and I don't dowse it with G'D ArmorAll
