Need a vehicle to replace my 740 as a daily driver. Don't mind working on the car as long as the parts are reasonable priced. I'm 6'5" tall and would like legroom and a car that can take a hit in a crash.
What Volvo (or other brand) would you buy?
Sorry to use up bandwith on the 700 forum.

    I am also 6'5" and I cannot fit in any of the newer Volvo's. I just barely fit in the 740. I have tried some newer Volvo's, but no way could I drive them on daily basis as they are too tight. I think a Lincoln Town Car might work. They are quite the bargain lately. Going to look at a 2001 Town car with 72k on it for $6,400 at the dealer this weekend. The gas mileage is close to what we get from the 740 turbo anyhow.
