Does anyone know if these caps will fit my stock 1983 DL.

My stock caps are not quite like these... mine have a separate center piece that clips onto the spindle part of the hub.. the have a "V" on the center piece.

Also, Does anyone have a stock 1983 set for sale?

I had these on my '79 242. They required 5 metal clips per wheel to install. The clips slip into small holes between the lugs and are were hidden from sight by the wheel cover.

Your present wheels will not have the holes for the clips.

These were stock on a 75 242 that I once had.It will all depend on the rim you have.Although all 14 in. steelies fit the 240s not all the steelies had the same profile in the center hub section.On my 75 these caps snapped right in,held on tight,no extra parts were used.On some steelies I know these will not fit.

Transit wind is correct that they wont fit right.

I do have a complete set of wheel covers minus the outer trim rings. The center caps are in very good condition. If you're interested in them let me know and I will dig them out and send you pics of them.

Yes I am definately interested if the price is low (Im on a tight budget right now). I think I can afford around $25 + shipping (I think they can go in one of the USPS flat rate boxes). Im not too concerned about the condition as long as they will fit and cover up the hub/lug nuts. I clean/polish up just about anything and make it look descent. If your interesed send me a picture and Ill paypal you the money (or other payment methods that you may prefer).

I found the center caps but the chrome discs are buried somewhere at my dad's. I still have to find them. If you're willing to give me 'till Wed. I should be able to find them when I go there tommorrow.

If the center won't pop out on these then I don't think they will work. I bought one solid one by mistake and it didn't work. I'm thinking they are for the 122's or something.
