Rough Idle 700 1986

I have a 1986 740 Turbo wagon with 250,000 miles. Had a valve job at 230,000.
The engine idles rough? Did a compression check and three cylinders are 150 and #1 is 140 lbs. IPD claims that if it were a broken or clasped ring the compression in #1 cylinder would be more like 15 lbs to cause a rough idle.

    Your compression's OK. Check the plug gap and ignition wires. Have you ever replaced the engine wiring harness? Up through '87 there was a problem with deteriorating/crumdling insulation.
