Regina wiring? Pictures 700

Hi all
I think I found the starter remore socket? And found an unplugged connector behind the airbox..anyone know if this is indeed the starter remote and what the unplugged connector goes to? See below.

      Hahaha I am slow but not tarded. I connected +12v fro battery to Blue small test port and again the solenoid clicked but no turn over. Just picked up a rebuilt and am about to slap it in there...we shall see. Thanks. BTW what is that three wire conector anyway?

      NO, not that one...


      It's THIS one, also in your picture...



      The wiring is in parallel tothe ignition switch: Battery +12V from a jumper has to get thru the Neutral safety switch, then to the starter solenoid.

        Sorry I confused you and Trichard. I did find the test socket(Small Blue one).
        But in the process I found the unconnected 3 wire connector...any idea what it was for?

          I believe it is the connector for the cruise control unit, when an option.

            great,

            I just got my car to pass smog. FYI, I found a vacuum leak under the MAP (I think this is what it is called) sensor which is screwed down onto the driver side strut area.

            The vacuum line going to it attaches to the underside of MAP sensor with a rubber tube which was cracked.
