Happy New Year! 200

Bruce,

A happy new year to you and your family as well, and I hope 2010 brings us all great progress and joy! When I look back at 2009 there are only a few things I can be thankful for, naturally, the strength of my wife in these hard times, she is the one keeping me in one piece and gives me the strength to go on, a true inspiration!

It is also highly notable that our 240 "Bleen" has held up through thick and thin, sure, an AC hose failure here, a leaking water pump there, and even a failing harmonic balancer. But "Bleen" along with the help of my kind friends on the BB have made nearly 25K miles of commuting possible across four states without even missing a beat! (Okay, I was a bit annoyed "and soaked with sweat" when the AC failed in August in a four hour traffic jam!)

Please accept my thanks and warm wishes for the coming year!

Happy New Year! 200

Bruce,

Happy New Year to you and family! The car that you helped me with (1990 240 when my son blew a timing belt up in New London and you so kindly met us and directed me to a shop) is still running. I put struts in it this past week. It's a bit beat up, but still going strong with 180k on it.

I tell people all the time of the solidarity found on this board and use the story of you coming out to meet my son and I in our moment of need in a strange place. Thanks again and Happy New Year!

Ray Stanton
