headliner reupholstery shop in SF bay area?

hi all,
alas, the sagging headliner has gotten to the point where i can't see out the rearview mirror. can anyone recommend a reupholstery shop in the SF bay area? it might be obvious, but i need someone good that is also cheap. i got a quote of $500 and am freaking out a bit. from what i surmise from other posts, this job is quite a pain. a new baby is on the way, and i would like the kid not to be covered in dry rotten foam bits at the end of a car ride.
thanks!
jun

No recommendation,but food for thought.
If you choose to spend the $ for new headliner,be sure that the material they use is fairly new and not been sitting on a shelf in the upholstery shop for several years.A friend in the business tells me that material on the shelf goes bad at nearly the same rate as in the vehicle, but they will still use it and it will not last long,This is especially a concern with the 700/900 series because the thinner foamed material needed for the sunroof to work correctly is hardly ever used for anything other than a volvo therefore it sits on the shelf for a long time. For what its worth, the last three I have done myself with great satisfaction, the last one I paid to have done at an upholstery shop here in the midwest cost about $400.00 and was failing inside of two years.
Congratulations on the new family member.

Sorry I don't have a rec for SF. But $500 sounds like an awful lot of money. I took my car into a regular old fashioned auto upholstery shop in National City (San Diego) and they did the headliner and visors for $250. It was just a shop that had been in business for many years so I figured they must do something right. Turned out perfect.

thank you both for your suggestions and price comparisons. yeah, the sunroof seems to be a bit of an issue with one of the shops. they don't want to bother doing it. they said it leaks after taking the roof off to reupholster it. i guess it's time for me to get down and dirty...

thanks.

Ah, a sunroof. Minor detail ;-)

Yep, a sunroof is a PITA and jacks the price up. It's a warranty issue. "I had no leaks until you people did my headliner. Now the sunroof leaks!!"
