Just in case you didn't know, it is very easy to recycle your old catalytic converter. This past week I was delighted to get $77.00 plus shipping for my old converter on Ebay.

ebay? never thought about that. my original CAT off the 83 was worth over $80 when metals where high two years ago. the aftermarket CAT off my 86 at the same time was worth $10. I was wondering at that point why I was changing out my original if it was still good for an aftermarket Bosal. But its nice to have a new Cat for not much more than what I sold the old one for. I took it to a recycler.

That one of yours looks due to be retired.

In North Carolina, it is illegal to sell a used cat converter for reuse on another car. They can only be resold for recycling purposes... but then again, how are the cops gonna know!
