960 Wagon tail light goes out when using brakes 900

Hello! Does anyone have an idea what to check for a situation like this? It's a 1994 960 wagon (the fancy model, if there is more than one model) and when the brake is applied, one tail light goes out, (passenger side) but not the other one. As soon as the brake is released, the light comes back on.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check for bad ground on the side that goes out. The invidual bulb bulb sockets are all connected to a ground lug usually near the light.

Laurie,

Did you have replace one of the tail light bulbs and use the wrong one? If not, try wiggling the lamp socket, maybe one of the terminals have begun to oxidize.
