My 1984 has a dying wiper motor -- they're getting slower and somewhat noisy, despite good voltage at the plug:
[I've removed each wiper arm one at a time to see if there's a difference, and there isn't, so the motor seems to be the culprit.]
... so I thought I'd change the motor.
This is one of the few things I've never done on any of my cars, so I was wondering what I will face: That is, does the motor just come out off it's mount on the firewall (engine bay side), with some sort of shaft going into the firewall to the linkage, or do I also have to release some fastener on the "behind the glovebox" side of the firewall, too?
Thanks for any tips.
