Bottom Engine Cover From S90 or 960 to 940 900

Does anyone know if the bottom engine cover from a V90 or 960 will fit on a 940? Thanks in advance!

The one I just got from PartsGeeks showed the same part # for 740/940/960

Be sure to get the bolts if your car doesn't still have them.

Thanks, just got one of a "clunked" 960 that looks like it was replaced recently. It definately is the same one as the 940. Thank You!

It should fit, the chasis is the same... Check with someone like IPD on-line catalog--if it is the same part number you are OK.

no, its the plastic cover that protects the bottom of the engine from road debris and dirt. Under the engine.

It also helps with airflow in the engine compartment

When you get a new one on watch the idiots who change the oil, they will just remove bolts on one side, yank down the cover to access the filter and often as not lose or strip the bolts. Seen it happen, now I watch, if they don't like that go somewhere else.
